Small South Dakota town is in the running for $50,000 hometown grant

This interview originally aired on "In the Moment" on SDPB Radio.

The town of Bryant, South Dakota, is undertaking a big project: Redoing their city park.

The town has fewer than 500 residents, but their park improvement project is in the running for a $50,000 dollar grant.

Krista Prouty and Kristie Sinkink are members of the Bryant Up & Coming Committee. They discuss the grant opportunity and what a park brings to a community.
