After 18 months of planning, Sioux Falls has established the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan. This effort aims to improve water quality, reduce waste, and increase recycling. Holly Meier is the sustainability coordinator for the city.

Ivermectin is a drug used by veterinarians to treat parasite infestations in animals. The Senate Health and Human Services Committee debated House Bill 1267. This bill would allow more personnel in the health field to prescribe this drug for use as a COVID-19 therapy. We listen in on a summary of the debate.

A new Avera behavioral health building is set to open on its 69th street campus. It will offer an expansion of services along with new services and programs. Matt Stanley, DO is a psychiatrist with Avera, and Walter Panzirer is a trustee with the Helmsley Charitable Trust.
