Her Royal Highness Ambassador Princess Reema assumed the role in early 2019. She's said Saudi Arabia's economic future depends on the empowerment of women. Fahad Nazer is the official spokesperson for the Embassy of Saudi Arabia to the United States.

NPR's Tiny Desk contest is happening now. Artists have until Monday to submit original music for a chance to tour around the country with NPR music. In 2021, Rapid City artists Clayton Ryan and Hannah Drewitz submitted their Tiny Desk entry. Ryan is now playing music full-time, playing bass with the Brandon Jones Band. They have upcoming shows scheduled for Sturgis, Denver, and Brookings. Clayton Ryan also has a new signal, "Pictures" coming out on March 11.
In February, the organization “Friends of the Big Sioux River” hosted a film festival at the State Theatre in Sioux Falls. The festival raised over $8,000 dollars to support stewardship and cleanliness of the Big Sioux and its tributaries. Managing Director Travis Entenman joins us in our Sioux Falls Studio to discuss the mission of Friends of the Big Sioux, and what efforts can be made to increase conservation.
Scotti Clifford & Spirits Cry is a Native American rock trio based out of the southern Badlands of South Dakota. The band is made up of Scotti Clifford with his son, Welby June and daughter Wahpe Louella on drums. They toured with the band, Dispatch in 2018, they've performed at the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood, CA and at several other notable spaces across the United States. Their EP, "Stars Fall," was released in 2019 and they are looking forward to recording and releasing music in 2022.
