On today's show …

Children's book authors Helen Frost and Julie Lyon join us in the studio. We'll talk about bugs and poems, dinosaurs and grasslands.

Tim Reisch is our candidate today as we meet the candidates of the 2022 election.

Kevin Woster talks to some of the state's most experienced newsroom reporters. He joins us to look at what might be lost as newsrooms shrink.

Plus, this year's South Dakota One Book is "Our History is the Future" by Nick Estes. We hear an excerpt from our interview with the author in Deadwood in 2019.

Lori Walsh is a special correspondent with SDPB and host of the "In the Moment" podcast.
Chris has nearly 30 years of experience in radio broadcasting and production.
Carl Norquist is a producer and writer for In the Moment. An EMMY-winning producer, Carl previously worked for KTIV News 4 in Sioux City, IA. Carl is a Minnesota native and graduate of Augustana University with majors in Art and English.
