On today's show …

Early voting is underway in South Dakota. Election Day is next Tuesday. Voters will decide on Constitutional Amendment D. It's a measure to expand Medicaid in South Dakota. The amendment would allow adults ages 18 to 65 with income below 133 percent of the poverty level to be covered by Medicaid. Jackie Hendry has the story.

We Meet the Candidates for state house and senate for the 2022 election. Jess Olson, a Republican, is running for re-election as state representative in District 34.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has threatened long jail sentences for those who oppose the war. We talk with filmmaker Gesbeen Mohammed about a new FRONTLINE documentary that spotlights Russian journalists and activists risking everything to be heard.

Vernon Brown joins us for a look at "a Night of Hope for the Homeless" at the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House.

Plus, A visual dialogue between three artists at the University of South Dakota. The exhibit explores our relationship with food, material possessions, and the home. We talk with one of the artists, Janet Ballweg, about the tensions that exist within domestic life.
