The South Dakota Day of Giving is a 24-hour extravaganza of generosity, and all the money stays right here at home.
In the Moment is dedicating this hour to celebrating nonprofit organizations across the state and challenging all of us to support and amplify their work. It's a day of neighbors helping neighbors.
This hour we'll meet storm chasers and educators. We'll talk with people who create safe spaces and heal trauma. We'll learn about campers and connections with traditional Lakota values.
We'll head to Watertown and Canton and Rapid City. Plus, we'll do our best to rescue some kittens.
