Tech Radio in review

On today's show...

Once upon a digital time, a small group of South Dakota tech enthusiasts turned on the microphones to answer your questions. Your questions, it turned out, said a lot about American culture.

SDPB's Tech Radio was like Car Talk, but for your printer, your VCR, your first gaming console. The Tech Radio Guys answered questions about gadgets, innovation, and the future. From the rise of smartphones and streaming to the the ethics of AI, the team has explored it all with curiosity, creativity, and a bit of friendly debate along the way.

Today, we take a look back. We'll revisit big tech moments that changed our world, the predictions that didn't come to be, and the hosts who helped make sense of it all. We'll also look ahead to a new era a tech support.

We're joined by a few of the original and early Tech Radio Guys. Amos Aesoph is chief security officer at Xigent Solutions in Sioux Falls. Jeff Litterick is a network and security architect for the state of South Dakota. Kent Osborne is director of digital at SDPB. John T. Meyer is an entrepreneur and also executive director of Leadership South Dakota.

Lori Walsh is the host and senior producer of "In the Moment."
Ari Jungemann is a producer of In the Moment, SDPB's daily news and culture broadcast.
Ellen Koester is a producer of In the Moment, SDPB's daily news and culture broadcast.
