Groton Area and Sioux Falls Christian are set to clash for the ‘A’ girls' soccer championship on Saturday evening from Crane-Youngworth Field in Yankton. Last season, the Tigers in the title match to Tea Area 3-1. However, with no seniors on last year’s roster, Groton Area’s squad is back hoping to flip the script this time around.

For Vermillion boys soccer, it's been a long journey back to the title game.

The 2024 SDHSAA state soccer championships will take place from Crane-Youngworth Field in Yankton on Saturday October 19th.

James Valley Christian's 4-3 win in the semifinal round of the 'A' boys soccer playoffs did more than punch the Vikings ticket to the championship round. It was also the 200th career win for head coach Jory Wipf.
