The 2015 State Volleyball Tournaments Come To Sioux Falls

The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls is the site for the thirty-fifth annual state volleyball championships. This year the tournament will be combined with the “B”, “A” and “AA” all competing at the same time.

Competition will begin on Thursday, November 19th, with opening ceremonies beginning at 12:00 pm CT. The second session on Thursday will begin at 6:00 pm CT. There will be two sessions on Friday as well (times are the same as Thursday) with Saturday’s award session beginning at 9:00 am CT. The Championship session will begin at 4 pm CT with the Class B title match.

Last year’s champions were Class AA –Sioux Falls O’Gorman; Class A – Sioux Falls Christian; Class B – Warner. All three teams are back in the tournament this year.

You can purchase an all-session ticket for $45 if you're an adult or $30 if you're a student. Each session will also be sold individually as well. Individual sessions are $15 for adults and $10 for students. For more information about the tournament and teams participating, visit sdhsaa.com.

South Dakota Public Broadcasting will provide full coverage of the event. All three classes will be streamed live online at sdpb.org/volleyball. The Championship session on Saturday will be televised on SDPB TV-1, and it will consist of the Class B championship, the Class A championship, and the Class AA Championship.
