The Spirit of Su award has become a staple of the championship night festivities at each state high school basketball tournament in South Dakota. During the ‘AA’ girls tournament last week, Bailee Sobczak of Rapid City Stevens was the recipient of the award.
For Bailee, SuAnne Big Crow was her childhood idol, which made for a special night for her.
