Girls Got Game, a documentary that highlights the evolution of girls high school sports in South Dakota since Title IX, airs this week on SDPB.
It tells the story of the women who fought to make sure girls had the same opportunities as their male peers, and the coaches, athletic directors, and students who led their teams to victory.
Producer Nate Wek joins Lori Walsh on In the Moment to talk about some of the trailblazers featured in the film including Ruth Rehn, Jo Auch, Lolly Forseth, and Becky Hammon.
