Sanford International to stay at Minnehaha Country Club

Nate Wek - SDPB

Sanford International and the Minnehaha Country Club Board of Directors reached an agreement to continue holding the PGA TOUR Champions event in Sioux Falls through 2027.

“This is great news for the community of Sioux Falls and our incredible partners,” Davis Trosin, tournament director of the Sanford International, said. “We appreciate Minnehaha Country Club and its board of directors for collaborating on a deal that is beneficial to both parties and want to thank MCC members for supporting this new, three-year extension.”

In the past, the tournament and related events have brought golfers including Jack Nicklaus, Hale Irwin, Ernie Els and Fred Couples, according to Sanford International.

The tournament will be the week of September 11-17 and tickets are currently on sale.

Tickets are also on sale for Sanford International Live! featuring Jake Owen. This will be held at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
