The 2025 South Dakota High School Finals Rodeo event will take place from the Stanley County Fairgrounds in Ft. Pierre this week on Wednesday through Saturday, June 18-21.

In 2002, SDPB had the opportunity to interview Jerry Olson, aka "The Big Swede", about his storied rodeo career. Jerry passed away in 2017 at his home in Belle Fourche at the age of 81.
