For the Haugen Family, rodeo means everything.

We introduce you to a young man from Volga who loves to rope and ride, meet a family from Sturgis that rodeo togethe, give insight into the history of 75 years of High School rodeo, and travel to Burke for Rumble at the Rodeo an AAU youth wrestling tournament.

Rope Roghair of Isabel won the state championship in saddle bronc riding and boy's cutting.

Rance Bowden and Sern Weishaar of Belle Fourche are the state champions in Team Roping for the second straight year.

Gabe Glines of Smithwick is the 2024 state champion in steer wrestling.

Tommie Martin of Hayes is the 2024 state champion in pole bending.

Hazin Schmidt of White River is the 2024 state champion in bull riding.

Arina Haugen of Sturgis is the 2024 state champion in barrel racing. She also qualified for Nationals in breakaway roping and pole bending.

Tierney Breen of Woonsocket is the 2024 state champion in Goat Tying.
