Another year is in the books, but it's safe to say 2025 didn't disappoint. It was filled with some fantastic moments at the SDHSAA events. We wanted to share some of SDPB's favorite memories from the year.

Peyton Hellmann, a senior for Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon, put the final stamp on her high school wrestling legacy on Saturday in Rapid City with a fifth straight individual state title. She wrestled Ireland Templeton of Pierre in the championship round, winning 15-4 by major decision.

This week, Nate Wek and Jason Andera outline several basketball classics over the next couple of weeks, including the epic Lakota Nation Invitational and the newly formed Midwest Miracles Classic.
