World champion hoop dancer Jasmine Pickner-Bell has performed at the Buffalo Roundup since she was a child traveling with her father and fellow hoop dancer, Dallas Chief Eagle. A member of the Crow Creek Tribe, she has traveled around the world performing.
She talked to SDPB about integrating a formerly all-male art form & an upcoming movie about her life. She’s accompanied by members of the North Bear Singers — her husband Luke Bell & son Kane Big Lake.
