It’s state basketball season in South Dakota. Over the next two weeks, forty-eight teams from across the state will celebrate and compete in state tournaments.

It's state high school basketball season in South Dakota. Here's how to watch all of the tournaments during both weeks of the event.

Steph Schueler of Sioux Falls Lincoln is a former Gatorade Player of the Year, and a three-time first team all-state team honoree in girls basketball. She's also the first four year letter winner in Sioux Falls history for girls or boys hoops.

All three classes of girls high school basketball will hold their SoDak 16 matchups this week throughout the state. 

Three schools, a buzzer-beater in the state tournament and now, 2,000 career points highlights White River’s Maleighya Estes high school resume.

In his first year as a head coach at Hanson, Jim Bridge and his team won four games. The second year, Hanson won five games. In the 2021-22 season, his Hanson girls basketball squad has 15 wins (15-4 record overall) and win number 14 of the season was also Bridge’s 600th career win.
