January and the New Year class
This class will be taught by new Programs and Events Assistant Sam Comes and is for students in grades 3-5.
Students will learn about the Roman origins of the month and also have a chance to discuss and write their goals for the coming year. The class will include a Powerpoint, a video, paper activities and a craft. There will also be a drawing for the book, “New Year Around the World.” Refreshments will be served.
Pre-registration is required. Call 605-723-1200 to preregister. This is the first of monthly classes to be taught by Comes. To obtain a rack card of the year's classes, call the museum or stop in.
