Lunch and Learn: Strengthening Our Democracy by Remembering Our History: KU Klux Klan in South Dakota

Lunch and Learn: Strengthening Our Democracy by Remembering Our History: KU Klux Klan in South Dakota
Join us on November 1st at 12pm in the Kozak Room or on Zoom for a free live presentation from Dr. Arley Fadness on the history and influence of the KU Klux Klan in South Dakota from 1892 to 1933. He will be identifying towns, churches, leaders, and communities that unwittingly sang the songs of white supremacy, antisemitism, anti-Catholics, and nativism. In contrast to the tenets of the KKK we celebrate democracy which upholds equality, freedom, and the voting power of the people.
Registration is only required for the Zoom link. Sign up for Zoom at bit.ly/vpldemocracy
