Our Community Library is happy to host an AUTHOR EVENT! The featured author will be Tanner Castora. Tanner Castora is the author of the book ‘Stig and The Rise of South Dakota State Football. Coach Stig began as a volunteer student coach at South Dakota State in 1977. Twenty years later he was named head coach. And 26 years after that during the 2022 season - through not hubris but humility, not cutthroat callous but kindness, and not fiery force but faith - John Stiegelmeier led his alma mater to heights it had never seen before. This is the story of how a mediocre Division II college football program became a Division I National Champion - the players that made it happen, and the man that guided them through it all. Our event moderator will be Mark Ovenden as we meet Coach, ask questions, and maybe even get an autograph!
