Join us for the SURF Community Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center! This event will be a fun and safe venue for families in the Lead area to celebrate Halloween and an opportunity for community members to gather.

To give this event even more purpose, we are encouraging attendees to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to our local food banks.

We’re inviting YOU to join us by hosting a vehicle station!

Get in on the Halloween fun by handing out candy, decorating your vehicles and/or wearing costumes. We ask all vehicle stations to be set up and ready at the Visitor Center by 3:30 p.m., and that your station remain active until 6:00 p.m. Please bring enough candy for 300 children. This invitation is open to all Lead residents, organizations, and businesses, so share widely!

Fun and engaging vehicle stations make Trunk or Treat events a great experience for the children and families throughout the Lead area.
