Did you know a Barn Quilt has nothing to do with fabric? True - it is a quilt square design you paint on signboard and then hang on your barn, shed, garage, fence, balcony railing, kitchen or quilt studio wall or wherever your heart desires!
Join us on October 18th to paint your Barn Quilt! You'll chose from over 140 designs in the colors of your choice. Tammy does all the hard work in prepping your board so you'll walk in and paint. We'll feed you lunch & plenty of snacks so you can enjoy the day. Tammy is so organized and makes this easy enough for beginners to walk out with a beautiful Barn Quilt to grace your home!

Join us for a unique hands-on activity exploring the historic Mount Moriah Cemetery. Participants will learn the techniques and etiquette of headstone rubbing while discovering stories from Deadwood’s past. Meet at the Days of '76 Museum; the program will run from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Free for students in grades K–6, but space is limited. All selected students will receive scholarships to attend the NSTI! The scholarship will cover the cost of on-campus housing, food, and workshops, so the camp is free! During this one-week-long summer camp, you will be introduced to different aspects of transportation engineering, such as planning, materials, and transportation modes, among other topics. You’ll also have an opportunity to participate in hands-on lab activities in workshops and learn from experts about the transportation sector and the problems transportation engineers solve.
Eligibility Criteria:-Entering grades 8–12 (as of 2025-2026 school year)-Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 (out of 4.0)-Completed algebra (or will be qualified to enroll in coming school term)-Interested in engineering, science, or technology
