The community of Bison is celebrating a state girls golf championship this week as the extra motivation from finishing second a year ago has paid off.

Despite bad weather and numerous delays, the Gregory Gorillas are the 2022 state boys golf champions.

The 2022 spring state golf championships wrapped up from Rapid City, Sioux Falls, and Brookings on Tuesday June 7th.

He pulled off one of the most stunning upsets in Olympic history—winning gold in the 10,000 meters at the 1964 Tokyo Games, a race no American was expected to win.
