Lance Christensen Jr, a former state golf champion from Little Wound, is spending part of his summer exposing the game of golf to kids who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity.

Sanford International and the Minnehaha Country Club Board of Directors reached an agreement to continue holding the PGA TOUR Champions event in Sioux Falls through 2027.

It took 37 holes for Huron’s Bryn Huber to win the state ‘AA’ girls golf title this week in Pierre. A tie at +1 with Allison Meyerink of Mitchell after the second round sent the pair into a playoff to decide a winner.
