Blind Boy Paxton

Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton draws from blues and jazz music before World War II.  Influenced by Fats Waller and "Blind Lemon" Jefferson, Paxton's talent for playing the piano, violin, banjo, guitar and other instruments sets him apart.

Paxton lost all of his eyesight by the age of 16.  Now in his 20s, he relates to his audience with wisdom far beyond his age.  His smile brings his audience even closer.

"Blind Boy" Paxton played the Orpheum Theater in Sioux Falls in March.  His show was part of the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society's concert series.
