Lakota Music Project Heads To Washington D.C.

The Lakota Music Project heads to Washington D.C. for an unprecedented cultural initiative. An ensemble comprised of nine core South Dakota Symphony Orchestra musicians along with Native American musicians Bryan Akipa and Emmanuel Black Bear, Native American actor Barry LeBeau, Lakota elder Chris Eagle Hawk, Black Hills State University Professor Emeritus Ronnie Theisz, and Maestro Delta David Gier will travel to Washington after a South Dakota send-off concert Tuesday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls.
