SDSO invites you to get into the holiday spirit with Handel

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra is offering a fixture of the holiday season this weekend. Handel's iconic "Messiah" is coming to Sioux Falls.

We talk about the history and story behind the piece with Maestro Delta David Gier and soloist Robert Balonek.

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra is performing Handel's "Messiah" at the First Lutheran Church on Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. The event will be streamed on SD.net.
