Christopher Vondracek is a poet, songwriter, journalist and musician. When the launch of his 2020 poetry collection "Rattlesnake Summer" was delayed, he took his frustration to the piano keys. The resulting songs are now featured on the album "Rattlesnake Summer: The Musical."
Vondracek talks about the rural snowstorms and prairie-dog-courtroom-battles that inspired his music.
