Through her words, Blue invites readers onto her western South Dakota ranch and shares snapshots of rural life.
Her new book "Little Pasture on the Prairie" curates her columns from the past 10 years.
Blue joins "In the Moment" to discuss common themes throughout the column and play live in the SDPB studio. She performs "Living Like a River," as well as "Overture" from her in-progress folk opera, "The Grass Widow."
