Calling all South Dakota musicians!
It's that time of year again!
National Public Radio (NPR) is accepting your videos for the 2019 Tiny Desk Concert Contest.
The concert is open now through through Sunday, April 14 at 11:59 p.m. ET/10:59 p.m. CT.
Local musicians may be featured on SDPB Radio's "Moment in Sound" SDPB social media, and in SDPB Magazine. The overall winner will be featured on NPR!
Here's how you enter:
- Make a video of you or your band, performing one original song at a desk (any desk!). We want to hear the music that shows us the best of what you've got.
- Upload your video to YouTube.
- Enter the contest at TinyDeskContest.npr.org
The winner of the contest will come to NPR headquarters in Washington, DC to play their very own Tiny Desk Concert.
Then, the winner will come on a tour of the U.S. with NPR Music. That's it! It's not a complicated process, though there are a few rules to read. We want to hear from anyone with a song to share (and a desk, too).
