Another year is in the books, but it's safe to say 2025 didn't disappoint. It was filled with some fantastic moments at the SDHSAA events. We wanted to share some of SDPB's favorite memories from the year.

Shane Veenhof, a junior from Madison, won the ‘A’ boys 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles on Saturday at the 2025 SDHSAA state track and field meet in Sioux Falls.

Bennett County won their first girls state track championship since 1986 on Saturday from Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls. Scoring a total of 85-points, 70 of those included the sister duo of Reagan and Payson O’Neill. Their brother Rush also won three events of his own.

The 2025 SDHSAA state track and field meet wrapped up on Saturday from Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls Lincoln, Sioux Falls Christian, and Bennett County won girls team titles, while Sioux Falls Lincoln, Sioux Falls Christian, and Colman-Egan won team championships in boys.

Ashlyn Koupal, a junior from Wagner, has now won five ‘A’ state high jump championships. She claimed the title on Thursday in Sioux Falls at Howard Wood Field during the 2025 state meet.

The 2025 SDHSAA state track & field meet began from Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls on Friday. Day one saw fourteen state meet records broken between the prelims, track finals, and field events.

The 2025 SDHSAA state track and field meet will take place this week from Howard Wood Field on Thursday through Saturday, May 29th to May 31st. SDPB will provide live coverage through all three days of the event.
