20 men’s & 6 women’s Indian Relay Teams from 4 states in the Great Plains Area have entered to compete in our extreme sport which is fast becoming popular around the country. Every team must prove lineage and tribal enrollment. It’s our extreme sport, it’s here and only getting bigger & better.
The men’s team consists of 4 men and 3 horses that work in sync with amazing skill, ability, speed, and endurance. A mugger, 2 holders and a rider.
The women’s team consists of 3 women & 2 horses. A mugger, a holder and rider.
It really is amazing and something to witness this Ultimate 1st Nations Sport. Which has been a part of the Native American Horse Culture, Heritage and Tradition for 100’s of years. There is such a family unity with all the team families and horses.
