SDPB & SDHSAA State Golf Championship Coverage

Sanford International and the Minnehaha Country Club Board of Directors reached an agreement to continue holding the PGA TOUR Champions event in Sioux Falls through 2027.

It took 37 holes for Huron’s Bryn Huber to win the state ‘AA’ girls golf title this week in Pierre. A tie at +1 with Allison Meyerink of Mitchell after the second round sent the pair into a playoff to decide a winner.

It was a good week for Gregory at the 2023 ‘B’ boys state golf tournament. Not only did the Gorillas capture the team title in impressive fashion, but Gregory senior Eli Fogel also took home the individual title with a performance that came down to the 18th hole.

She led her team to the Class B Volleyball State Title and still holds two state tournament volleyball records. Jussy Tuscherer Smith joins Craig Mattick on this edition of In Play.
