Another year is in the books, but it's safe to say 2025 didn't disappoint. It was filled with some fantastic moments at the SDHSAA events. We wanted to share some of SDPB's favorite memories from the year.

Shane Veenhof, a junior from Madison, won the ‘A’ boys 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles on Saturday at the 2025 SDHSAA state track and field meet in Sioux Falls.

Bennett County won their first girls state track championship since 1986 on Saturday from Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls. Scoring a total of 85-points, 70 of those included the sister duo of Reagan and Payson O’Neill. Their brother Rush also won three events of his own.

Since beginning her judging career in 1968, she has officiated at 46 of the past 51 state meets, helping shape the sport since its sanctioning in 1976.
