A hauntingly delicious event you don’t want to miss! Come to the library to build a spooky haunted house with scary good snacks and treats.

Introduce your child to the magical world of books and language through engaging stories, lively songs, and fun activities
Story Time is thoughtfully designed to support early literacy development and help prepare your child for future school success. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for young children to build social skills and make new friends.
Each session features a new theme or topic, keeping the experience fresh and exciting. Programs typically last about 30 minutes. No registration is required—just drop in! Caregivers are expected to attend with their children.
When: Every other Wednesday starting September 3rd through November 26th

Join us for a special program just for you and your baby! Spend quality time together and connect with other parents, caregivers, and little ones at the library. Snuggle Up with Stories features songs, books, rhymes, and more—all thoughtfully planned with babies in mind. This 20-minute program supports your baby’s early development by building listening, language, and motor skills in a fun, nurturing environment. Please come prepared to sit on the floor with your baby in your lap. Activities are one-on-one to encourage bonding and interaction. Have an older child with you? No problem—we’ll have coloring sheets or other quiet activities available to help keep them engaged.

Reach beyond books and join us at the library for this gentle and accessible yoga class that is perfect for those with limited mobility. No fee or equipment required!

Trick-or-Treat at the Library! (all ages) October 31st
Put on your costume and join us for a spooktacular time at the library! Stroll through the building and trick-or-treat at different stations — you never know who (or what) you might meet… from creepy and crawly to cute and friendly characters! You will collect treats while exploring the library in a whole new way!

Grab your offerings for the ofrendas, and join K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library for a uniquely fun family event! Make a garland of paper marigolds, decorate a sugar skull, have a tarot card reading, enjoy some distinctly Día de los Muertos delicacies and of course celebrate family, both past and present!

English Language Skills (ELS) Classes
The K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library offering free English classes for Spanish-speaking adults! Join us to improve your English for everyday situations. This ongoing class focuses on building oral communication skills while learning essential grammar, regular and irregular verbs, pronouns, adjectives, and practical vocabulary you can use right away. All classes are free and held at the library.
When: Mondays, beginning October 20th Time: 6:30 – 7:30 PM Ages: Adult/General Registration: No registration required.

La K. O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library estará ofreciendo clases de inglés para adultos de habla hispana. Únete para que desarrolles tu inglés para cada situación cotidiana.
