The family friendly Harvest Hoedown will be a festive, fall themed fun evening. Live Bluegrass music featuring Tiger Lily and the Tumbleweeds (aka Marcia D and Company). Music to make you want to kick up your heels on our dance floor! Homemade chili, cornbread, beer, wine, soda and water available for purchase. The culmination of the evening will be the last chance bidding of silent auction of donated assorted delicious pies.This is a fundraising event with all proceeds to go towards new HVAC equipment for the Center.
From the Crazy Horse Memorial to Sioux Falls, the Lakota Music Project is building bridges on a statewide tour this October. The tour programs explore shared human experiences of celebration, humor, love and youth demonstrated through music of Lakota, Dakota, and western classical traditions.

Join us for paranormal investigations with Deadwood History, Inc. and Black Hills Paranormal Investigations (BHPI) in October with exclusive investigations at one of Deadwood’s most haunted sites. Participants will search for paranormal activity in the Historic Adams House with the BHPI team using parascopes, para-lanterns, the Tempest, Rem-Pod, Onvoy ghost box, Pharaoh Box, Flux 2, Ovilus, digital audio recorders, laser grids, divining rods, K2’s, Dead Bell, and EMF meters. Investigations are offered at 6:00, 7:30, 9:00, and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 and limited to 24 people per investigation. You must be at least 12 years old to participate. Did you know a Barn Quilt has nothing to do with fabric? True - it is a quilt square design you paint on signboard and then hang on your barn, shed, garage, fence, balcony railing, kitchen or quilt studio wall or wherever your heart desires!
Join us on October 18th to paint your Barn Quilt! You'll chose from over 140 designs in the colors of your choice. Tammy does all the hard work in prepping your board so you'll walk in and paint. We'll feed you lunch & plenty of snacks so you can enjoy the day. Tammy is so organized and makes this easy enough for beginners to walk out with a beautiful Barn Quilt to grace your home!
