2017 NPR Tiny Desk Concert: Billy Lurken

Billy Lurken is a singer/songwriter who performs throughout the upper Midwest at all types of venues and events. The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, and Prince are just some of the few artists who have had a profound effect on him. Lurken's original music has been featured on South Dakota Public Broadcasting's "No Cover, No Minimum" program as well as on KELO-TV's "White Wall Sessions".  In addition to performing original material, he also performs covers from a variety of genres.  He is currently based in Mitchell after having made stops in Fargo, Nashville, and Glasgow.
