Girls: Sioux Falls O'Gorman 4 Rapid City Central 1

The O'Gorman Knights dominated most of the girls AA title game. Central tried to light a spark late in the game, but it was halted when Theresa Pujado inserted the dagger with a goal to give O'Gorman a 4-0 lead. With minutes remaining, the Cobblers were able to put one goal in the net, but it was ultimately too little too late.

Boys: Sioux Falls Christian 1 Spearfish 0

Senior Paul Eide scored near the 25 minute mark in the first half to give the Chargers the early lead. Spearfish had a few chances, but just couldn't get the ball in the net. The game started off with a fast pace, which hinted that this game could turn into an offensive points-fest. However, neither team ended up putting together another score.

The Cavaliers of St. Thomas More dominated both offense and defense in the class A girls soccer championship game. Stephanie Stagner and Cassidy Kirsch both had multiple goals in the win. It’s a special time for Cavalier fans as St. Thomas More won both a girl’s tennis title and a girl’s soccer title on the same day this Saturday.
