South Dakota Musicians!
National Public Radio (NPR) is accepting your videos for the 2018 Tiny Desk Concert Contest.
The concert is open now through Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 11:59 pm EST.
Local musicians may be featured on SDPB Radio's "Moment in Sound"," SDPB social media, and in SDPB Magazine. The overall winner will be featured on NPR!
Here's how you enter:
- Make a video of you or your band, performing one original song at a desk (any desk!). We want to hear the music that shows us the best of what you've got.
- Upload your video to YouTube.
- Enter the contest at TinyDeskContest.npr.org
The winner of the contest will come to NPR headquarters in Washington, DC to play their very own Tiny Desk Concert. (We all teared up a bit during Tank and the Bangas' performance last year).
Then, the winner will come on a tour of the U.S. with NPR Music. That's it! It's not a complicated process, though there are a few rules to read. We want to hear from anyone with a song to share (and a desk, too).
