The 2020 presidential election got some attention Monday at the weekly Sioux Falls Rotary Club meeting.  Joel Dystrka who is Rotarian of the year asked  South Dakota’s lone U.S. Congressman about the election.

Representative Dusty Johnson says possible voting irregularities should not discredit the results.

"You don’t have to like the decisions they make but we can’t just view every loss as evidence of corruption and so I’m going to be dedicated to improving election integrity. At the same time, I’m going to talk about these issues in a responsible way and not try and claim that the elections were stolen, because they weren’t.”

Johnson says the 2020 election had inconsistencies that need to be addressed in each individual state.
