No team from the @NorthernSunConf had ever won a @NCAADII National Baseball Championship. No team from the old NCC had ever done it either. No team farther north than Illinois had won a National Championship. Until @AugieBaseball@GoAugie today pic.twitter.com/UBnNQxu2rJ

The Vikings defeated Southern New Hampshire (twice), Florida Southern, and Columbus State at the DII College World Series this year – a perfect 4-0 record at the event.
